In solidarity with the national demonstrations this year, students at the UNM Health Science Center will be hosting an open forum on December 7th from 12-1pm in the plaza between Fitz Hall and the Nursing and Pharmacy Building (rain/cold

The goal is to create a space for students, faculty, staff, and patients to share personal experiences with and thoughts about

Call for Student Climate Justice Abstracts

The Educate, Motivate and Innovate (EMI) Climate Justice Initiative is seeking abstracts on student projects that address

resiliency, adaptation, and mitigation. Students should emphasize the relationships between climate change and the

following: public health, cultural and traditional practices, economic development, and environmental justice communities.

The EMI Committee will use these abstracts to select students to participate in the EMI Workshop at the National

Environmental Justice Conference and Training Program.

UNM's IFCE Research Showcase a Success!

The richness of New Mexico is mirrored and many of its needs addressed through the diversity of UNM's College of

Education research, and specifically the Individual, Family, and Community Education (IFCE) programs. The IFCE Showcase

highlights research on critical health, well-being, and education issues of New Mexico and beyond.

This fall's IFCE Research Showcase 2016 was a great success with 39 posters presented and lots of visitors.
