Dear Efraim,

I am writing to you because I am going to say something about Romanian traditions in the

Easter time, about traditional costumes and tourist landmarks.

A symbol of Easter in Romania are the painted eggs, a tradition specific for our country,

 because the eggs are painted carefully with complicated patterns . Two others traditions aretwo type of dishes: roast lamb which is the symbol of esus !hrist, who died for the

forgi"eness of our sins and ,,pasca##, which is a dessert which contains curd and raisins. The

Easter, like any other celebration is spent in family and is the most important celebration.

At the chapter traditional costumes, Romania is among the countries with the most beautiful

traditional costumes. Romania is one of the few countries in the world where, in $%%%, some

 people in the "illage still wear traditional costumes on weekdays, not only on certain holidays.

In Romania there are &&$ different costumes from which in 'anat, the region where I li"e are

in number of &(.

In Romania are a lot of things to see, but my fa"orites are the castles, so I will tell you about

two famous castles from Romania. )eles !astle is in my opinion the most beautiful castle

from Romania. It is situated in *inaia, a mountainous region. It was built in &+& at the wish

of the -ing !arol the first. )eles !astle is the second most "isited castle from Romania,

 because on the first place is 'ran !astle, with the legend of the famous Dracula in the person

of lad Tepes one of the leaders of Romanian !ountry then. 'ut the historians demonstrated

that lad Tepes ne"er li"ed in the castle. /owe"er the 'ran !astle remains a touristic

landmark.
