SKATEBOARD

The Varna Fun City Youth Festival 2012 Demo. The Varna Fun City Festival takes place on the coast

of the Black Sea and dedicates two days to skateboarding. It‟s supported by DC and on the poster you

can also find Bulgarian DC Rider Vladimir Ivanov –Gibona.

In Bulgaria by tradition two skateboarding events take place on May the 5th and the 6th. This year DC

national rider Vladimir Ivanov ''Gibona” took second place at the Collision Course eventin Russe and

won the best trick event in Sliven. The DC riders Kristian Berov part of the “Young Blood” project,

came second in the junior event for best trick and Alek Blagoev received a special prize for being the

youngest competing rider.

EVENT

The DC mini ramp was part of the Fun Zone at the Elevation Music Festival 22nd -24th of June at

the Dobroslavtzi airbase 40km outside the capital, Sofia. Over 16 000 people attended the festival this

year.

All the best skateboarders in Bulgaria where invited to do skate demos throughout the day and

surprisingly also the night!

BULGARIAN DC SHRED DAYS, AT THE BOROSPORT SNOW PARK

At the end of March and the beginning of April the Bulgarian DC Snowboard National riders took over the Snow Park Borosport, which has been sponsored all season by DC Bulgaria.

WILDBERRIES ALL-GIRLS SNOWBOARDING - WORKSHOP PART 2

The Wildberries all-girl snowboarding workshop took place at the Borosposrt Snow Park for the

second time this season in April.

DC supported Indrek Mägi (2011 estonian MX1 champion) finished 2'nd at the race called King of

Pärnu.

premiere of "Waiting For Lightning", one of the

most awaited events of the year into the skate

world.

The day started with an exclusive meet&greet at

Treesse Store, in Milan, where fans showed up for a

two hours signing session, patiently awaiting for their

chance to spend a few moments with their idol. Danny

and his fellow DC athlete Colin Mckay signed

skateboards, Monster Energy cans, took pictures and

shook hands for more than two hours before heading

to the exclusive movie screening where press, VIPs and some lucky fans got the possibility to relive

Danny Way´s life through a really touching and inspiring movie covering everything Danny has done

from his very first days on a skateboard till the legendary jump of China´s Great Wall.

After the screening Tyler De Naag´s Dj Set and an open bar party „til late night did the rest! What an

incredible day!

Dominykas Butvilas was the only Lithuanian Ralley rider invited to the Rally Masters Show 2012 in

Moscow and placed 2nd

in the N4 group. The Rally Masters were broadcasted by NTV+ for 5milion

viewers and Dominykas’ car was pictured in the report of the biggest Auto journal: AVTO REVJU.

Dominykas also placed third in in international rally TALSI 2012 in Latvia.

In the Lithuania National Challenge the team made the 1st place in the N4 Class and came in 2

nd in the

total.

In July, DC Sweden did a demo with My DC Crew and the Streetlab Skateshop at the “Landskrona

Sportshopen opened a new store and had a 3 days premiere. DC built a little skat area and did

demos, skate-school and hyped up the kids. There were over 30 000 visitors.

At the Usport opening in Malm , DC also did a demo and skate school which was supported bw DC

riders Olivier Valberé and Nikko Seppenän.

DC Teamrider Rickard Nilsson has an interview in the upcoming issue of Swedish skateboard

magazine Giftorm. Rickard visited us for a day and we filmed this clip to hype the interwiev, some sick

DC BATTLE – EVENT, IZMIR

Similar rules to game of skate. Was really a very good event that brought together all the local

skateboards. 48 skaters took part in the contest, and the crowd was around 200 people.

EUROPEAN VIDEO PREMIER AND PARTY – EVENT, IZMIR Same day at night we organized the Premier of the DC European Video in a Trendy bar in Izmir. After

the premier, the party went on with DJs that we sponsored and equipped with DC tees and shoes! The

bar was decorated with DC banners. Over 200 people attended the party.
