Welcome to the August edition of the Crocker Park tenant newsletter.Here is the good news for this month!August is here and so are the monthly events! There are lots of exciting things continuing to go on here at Crocker Park.

To start the month off right, August 4th through August 6th is Tax Free Weekend. Get your back to school shop-ping started! Guests can enjoy no sales tax on clothing items under $75 or on school supplies under $20. Stop by Crocker Park to enjoy live music and take advantage of the weekend! As part of Tax Free Weekend we will be “stuffing the train car”! We will be collecting back to school supplies for Cleveland Kids in Need Resource Center in front of Guest Services.

The Poses & Paws event with CBS Radio went purrfect! Lots of yogis showed up in support of the Cleveland APL. The next event taking place in Market Square is Glowga: An Evening of Yoga in the Dark. Presented by the Junior League of Cleveland, the event supports developing the potential of women as civic leaders, sign up and join us on August 12th!

This month’s Crocker Kids takes place on Tuesday, August 8th. The theme for this month is a Scavenger Hunt, pre-sented by Lake Ridge Academy and Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine. We have had almost 3,000 people attend the first three Crocker Kids this year. This free event is great for kids ages 2-9. Come pick up a list of clues and explore all of the crafts, games, and activities!

August is the last month for a few of our favorite weekly activities. Finish your summer off right with the last classes of Fitness in the Park on Saturday mornings. Movies in the Park will be winding down on Thursday, August 24th with the final movie of The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay. Don’t forget about Soul Stretch Mobile Yoga on Sundays! Get your last stretch in on Sunday, September 3rd at 10am.

With some of the weekly activities ending, don’t forget about the ones that are continuing on! Gather on the Green and Music in the Park will still be taking place every Friday and Saturday evening. The North Union Farmers Market and Truck Stop Tuesday will still be weekly fun for everyone.

We would like to give a big thank you to everyone that has participated in our Facebook Giveaways this year! Through Facebook Lives, fun trivia, and more; we have given away more than $10,000 in prizes!

Thank you to Sleep Number for hosting our last Tenant Networking Event. The next Event is at Texas de Brazil on Monday, September 11th from 4:30pm – 6pm. The event is a great occasion to meet your neighbors, get an update on what is going on around Crocker Park, and sample some tasty vittles!

Clear your calendar for September 15th and 16th, the Annual Wine Festival is in 6 short weeks! Friday’s festivities start at 4pm and end at 10pm, while the fun goes from 2pm-10pm on Saturday. The event is produced by Con-necting for a Cause and benefits health, wellness, and military support organizations in Northeast Ohio. There will be over 150 wines featured from local, national, and international producers, along with craft beers and spirits. TERMS AND CONDITIONS This contract will govern the conduct of the parties hereto from move-in, event day and move-out, except in the event of an unavoidable emergency necessitating the cancellation or postponement of the event. In such event, this agreement shall terminate immediately, both parties hereto waiving any claim for damages or compensation. The Fairview Park Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to reject any exhibitor at any time for any reason with notice, and shall not be liable for failure caused by labor disputes, strikes, war, flood, accident or any act of God. In any case Fairview Park Chamber of Commerce as-sumes no liability for lost or stolen merchandise. Exhibitor Responsibility: Exhibitor shall be solely and completely responsible for the erection and removal of its exhibit and operation of its assigned display area, and shall hold Fairview Park Chamber of Com-merce, its members, agents and servants harmless for all liability which may result either directly or indirectly from said activities. All activities shall be in compliance with the rules and regulations imposed on Fairview Park Chamber of Commerce by reason of its master agreement with the facility in which said event will be held. The exhibitor furthermore shall assure adequate manning of its display space at least thirty (30) minutes prior to opening of the display area to the event’s attendees and shall not tear down such display until the closing of the show at 7:00pm or, if earlier, by notification of show management. Exhibitor must sign an Exhibitor Agreement by the week prior to the event. This contract may not be cancelled because of space assignment.
