In 606 BC- King Nebuchanezzar of
Babylon came to take over Jerusalem. He carried off some of
the best things from the city and took
them back to Babylon.
Not only did he take treasure, he took the best
people too.
Young people who were…
Handsome,…
Smart,…
Strong,…
And even stronger,…
And able to serve in the King’s palace.
Among these were…
Daniel aka Belteshazzar,…
Hananiah aka Shadrach,…
Mishael aka Meshach,…
and Azariah aka Abednego.
They were to eat food from the king’s table, but Daniel
decided not to eat these foods since they were against God’s laws.
The Lord caused the official assigned to the four men to
have sympathy.
At the end of ten days, they looked healthier and better
nourished.
When the king brought them in, he found them to be ten times better than all
the magicians and enchantments in the whole
kingdom.
God wanted them to be healthy and Stay Safe!
