PRINCIPAL’S NEWS Welcome to Week 8. As we head into the hectic end of year period please make not of the following.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Will Reay as last week’s H2L Raffle winner.

Students receive raffle tickets throughout the week by displaying positive growth mindset learning behaviours.

Students are acknowledged for using their manners, being a good friend, helping others, wearing our school uniform with pride, playing nicely, trying hard with their learning tasks.

SCHOOL PERFORMANCE

All children enjoyed the “Sharing Culture” performance with Gwenda Stanley which was

held on Monday.

SUN SAFE PLAY During Term 4 ALL students are required to wear a hat while playing outside. School hats are for sale from the Front Office.

SELLING OF RAFFLE TICKETS The P & C were hoping if there was a parent who would be interested in selling raffle tickets at the Golden Apple for the Christmas raffle. Please let the office know if you are able to help. Invitations have been sent home for the Year 6 Farewell which will be held next Wednesday night 6 December at the Yanco All Servicemens Club commencing at 6.30 pm.

MADD PERFORMANCE AT LEETON HIGH SCHOOL All Wamoon students have been invited to attend the “Madd” Performance which will be held at the Leeton High School on Friday 8 December. Cost of the performance is $2 Students will be departing school at 12 midday and returning by 2.45 pm. Transport will be by bus. Please sign permission note and return to school by Thursday 7 December.

SCHOOL MAINTENANCE

You have no doubt noticed that the Infants classroom is getting a new roof. This work should be completed this week and normal classes will resume next week.
