Data Warehouse - Transportation Reports User Guides

1. Staring from login page located @ http://bpsdepot.mybps.org/dw/ by providing your

system User ID and Password click Login button the IBM Cognos home page

displays as shown in step 2.

2. Go to Transportation Reports tab by clicking on Click Here Tab displays as shown in

below

3. Right under Live Reports tab, click Current School Arrival Buses and Current

School Departure Buses

Steps to generate Current School Arrival Buses Report:

1. Current School Arrival Buses

To generate Current Arrival Buses and Stops (In Effect TODAY) report:

a. Click Current School Arrival Buses link the page displays with school

selection dropdown option. Select a school to generate the report. In this demo,

Adams Elementary [4361] is selected.

b. Click Run Current Arrival Buses and Stops page displays all bus number

associated with it routes, schedules and total number of students on each

routes.

Drill down student transportation by Bus Number [ie. B419]. Below are overall

transportation data population and various sorting options.

c. Under BUS NUM column, click B419 link It displays [Bus#B419 associated

with each of its stop, time and populated all student lists as shown:

d. View data on the page: at bottom left of the page, there are various options to go

through the page.

- Click on Top link redirects to the top of the page.

- Click on Bottom link redirects to the end of the page.

- Click Page Up link displays the page in one level up.

- Click Page down link displays the page in one level down.

e. Sorting formats: using Sort By dropdown values:

Sorted By Stop and Alpha:

Other options in the drop down Sorted By: Grade (GR), Stop and Alpha and Sorted By

Homeroom (HRM), Stop and Alpha:

Drill down student transportation by Student No:

f. Right under STUDENT NO column, click on Student No [ie. Student No 315042]

to drill down particular student transportation info A Student Transportation

Reports displays along with student contact info.

g. View another student transportation info by selecting a different student from

Select Student Number dropdown click Go button.

Drill down student transportation by Stop [Description]. Below are overall data

population and various sorting options.

h. Right under DESCRIPTION column, click on BENNINGTON ST@MARION

ST@LONDON ST populate all students @ this stop.

Steps to generate Current School Departure Buses Report:

Other Reports in Transportation Reports Folder.
