    to celebrating Darebins culture, diversity, historyand identity. The Darebin Music Feast is a joyouscelebration o our rich and vibrant city lie andacknowledges the diverse communities within our city.

    In 2012 the Darebin Music Feast and MelbourneFringe Festival embark on an IndependentMusic Partnership. The partnership sees thetwo estivals combine orces to promote

    Melbournes vibrant independent music scene.I would like to take this opportunity to givesincere thanks to Melbourne Fringe Festival.

    I would also like to thank Yarra Trams, LeaderCommunity Newspapers, Beatmagazine,Jellis Craig Real Estate and Melbournes Childor their generous support o the estival. Theestival would not be possible without you.

    Chinese philosopher Mencius once said thati the king loves music, all is well within theland. In 2012, all is well, because everyoneloves music and the Darebin Music Feast has

    returned with a stellar line-up and a programwith over 180 events or the whole community.

    It is a pleasure to welcome you to an eventwhich has or many years now acknowledgedand encouraged innovation, debate and risk-taking while supporting the large number oproessional and amateur musicians as wellas the many live music businesses in Darebin.

    In 2012 the Darebin Music Feast is veryexcited to launch a new program calledMusic Feast or Kids. Its real bands,with real music, and it will be real un!Experience awesome live music atthese kid-centric school holiday gigs.
