DANIEL BOONE

Daniel Boone was born on

October 22,1734 in Berks

County, Pennsylvania. His

parents are Squire Boone and

CHILDHOODHe spent his early life on the

Pennsylvania frontier. He got

his first rifle at the age of

twelve. Daniel spent most of

his life hunting in his youth.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

He founded the village of Boonesborough

Kentucky . He is remembered a great

hunter, pioneer, and Indian hunter. He

encouraged people to move to Kentucky

and build through the Appalachian

Mountains.

FACTS

His gravestone is in Frankfort

Kentucky. He served with the

British Military as a young man.

He married Rebecca Bryan on

August 14, 1756. He had four

children.
