Life
• All people have the right to live and to be protected.
Life
• We use life everyday by living it!
• We are protected by the police and security guards!
Liberty
• Liberty is the right to choose what you want in life.
Liberty
• We use liberty by saying what we want and choosing what we want.
• We have the right to say what we want and to have our own opinions on things.
• Liberty is protected by the first amendment.
The Pursuit of Happiness
• To find happiness in your own way, but as long as you don’t get in anybody else’s way.
Pursuit of Happiness
• The Pursuit of Happiness allows us to protect our happiness.
• While others can’t hurt our happiness.
Justice
• Everyone are treated fairly and nobody can be favored.
Justice
• Justice is shown by the trial by jury.
• We don’t favor others.
Common Good
• Common Good is when people help out others for one cause and government supports by making laws for the good for everyone.
Common Good
• Common Good is in our everyday life because people volunteer for the good of others.
• Government helps out by making laws like the bailout plan for the banks to help out the economy.
Equality
• We should treat everyone fairly, whether its your race, gender, or background.
Equality
• We treat people fairly.
• People treat us fairly.
• Everyone is given the same opportunities.
Diversity
• Diversity is the differences in our nation, whether it would be your race, religion, how you dress, or language.
Diversity
• Is shown by all the types of restaurants we have.
• Its shown by cultures.• Its shown by us not forcing our own
culture on other people.
• It forms our own culture.
Popular Sovereignty
• Popular Sovereignty is the power of the government from the people.
Popular Sovereignty
• The constitution shows that the people choose who represents them.
• We vote on laws.• We vote on amendments.
Patriotism
• Patriotism is showing pride for one’s deeds and values.
Patriotism
• We show Patriotism by saying the pledge of allegiance.
• When a fellow person passes away to lower the flag in respect.
Rule of Law
• The Rule of Law states that everyone must follow the laws.
Rule of Law
• We follow the states and city’s laws.
• Even if you are rich or poor you must still obey the laws.
