DTC enables you to build your Damen AHTS 200 locally, anywhere in the world.We provide you with a prefabricated shipbuilding kit and can, on request, combine this with expert assistance, training and backup. By using standardised components it is possible to make a custom-built design, fulfilling the specific local requirements. One in five Damen vessels are built on-site by DTC.

The Damen AHTS 200 is a versatile Anchor Handling Tug Supplier specially developed for deep water operations.The distinctive design is specially meant to serve offshore deep water operations up to 3000 m. The 200 ton bollard pull vessel has a large working deck, an extensive winch layout, state-of-the-art deck equipment, as well as a ROV functionality. The vessel provides a suitable platform for additional features such as:■ fire fighting■ oil recovery■ diving support■ sub sea construction etc.

OPERATIONAL PROFILEThe layout of the propulsion installation may be either Diesel-Direct, Diesel -Electric or Hybrid, pending the anticipated operational profile of the vessel. The clients operational profile will be carefully assessed taking into account component efficiencies at relevant loads. A global estimate of the Capex ans Opex may facilitate the choice for the final layout.

ECONOMICAL DESIGNCarefully modelled hull lines together with a dedicated designed propulsion and power generation system are tuned to achieve low fuel consumption figures.
