Fleet 35. Marquette, Michigan Lake Superior, 1978

Fleet Captain: Donald C. Studt Secr.lTreas: Neil J. Lynch

What a Great Summer of Fun for Fleet 35!!!

The summer was full of many highlights with great competition on beautiful Lake Superior. Wednesday nights were full of racing on Marquette bay with only one race cancelled due to the lack of wind (as usual for Lake Superior). The racing was very close between first and second place boats. Zeb and crew sailed his boat EH? To a first place trophy, followed closely by L1CKETY SPLIT sailed by Jim Knape and Eva Kipper. The entire fleet was well matched and many of the final results were not determined until the final race.
