It's the cycle of life! Since 2009, we at Sustrans have been working with the University of Nottingham, the Hospital Trust, Nottingham Trent University and 3 FE colleges, in partnership with Nottingham City Council and the Greater Nottingham Transport Partnership. We've been helping people at those organisations choose cycling as a way of commuting to work. At the end of this month (March 2015), the current funding for our project comes to an end - but that's not the end of the story! Later this month we'll be sending a special newsletter to update you on what will be happening at the University from April onwards. Adam Batty Batman Bike Bus! To celebrate the completion of the project we will be holding one last Bike Bus ride on the 27th of March! This ride will take a visit to the home of Batman, Wollaton Hall, and a tour of the lake and wildlife and deer around the park. The ride will start at 5pm sharp from the top of East Drive and finish back on Uni Park at 6pm. It will be a steady pace and a fun social ride with beautiful scenery. The days are getting £50 for a bit of box clicking! The University has launched its staff and student travel survey to understand more about how you travel to, from and between University sites so that we can improve access to our campuses. A prize draw is open to everyone who completes the survey and chooses to provide their email address, with a chance to win one of five £50 Victoria Centre gift cards! The survey should only take around five minutes

It's the cycle of life!Since 2009, we at Sustrans have been working with the University of Nottingham, the Hospital Trust,

Nottingham Trent University and 3 FE colleges, in partnership with Nottingham City Council and the

Greater Nottingham Transport Partnership. We've been helping people at those organisations choose

cycling as a way of commuting to work.

At the end of this month (March 2015), the current funding for our project comes to an end - but that's not

the end of the story! Later this month we'll be sending a special newsletter to update you on what will be

happening at the University from April onwards.

Batman Bike Bus!To celebrate the completion of the project we will

be holding one last Bike Bus ride on the 27th of

March! This ride will take a visit to the home of

Batman, Wollaton Hall, and a tour of the lake and

wildlife and deer around the park.

The ride will start at 5pm sharp from the top of

East Drive and finish back on Uni Park at

6pm. It will be a steady pace and a fun social

ride with beautiful scenery. The days are getting

£50 for a bit of box clicking! The University has launched its staff and student

travel survey to understand more about how you

travel to, from and between University sites so

that we can improve access to our campuses.

A prize draw is open to everyone who completes

the survey and chooses to provide their email

address, with a chance to win one of five £50

Victoria Centre gift cards!

The survey should only take around five minutes

longer too so the ride will all be in day light. If

you need a bike for the ride just email me and I

can get one reserved for you. Check out the

potential route here.

Loyal Ucyclers, we need your input. The project in its current form will be coming to

an end at the end of this month but we want your

fantastic input to continue. We would greatly

appreciate it if you can come along to the Ucycle

forum meeting to discuss the future of the

project, get your thoughts on what should happen

and obviously eat some celebratory cake!

The meeting will be held on the 25th of March

from 5-6pm in Portland B37. If you can only

attend for part of the meeting or just want to pop

by for some cake and a little chat that's fine by

us.

If you plan to attend please send me an email.

The UoNUcycle newsletter will be nomore but...You can sign up to the Sustainability Bulletin to

make sure you are kept up to date with all things

cycling and any other green news at the Uni. We

have worked closely with the Sustainability team

in the past and they will continue to support the

cyclists of the University of Nottingham when the

to complete and will be open from 9 - 27 March

2015.

Nothing says "thanks" like free teaand cakeTo celebrate the completion of a successful

project we're gonna get the cake in! This will be

a chance for you to come along, have a chat, eat

some cake and have a drink. We want to see

how the project has affected staff and students at

the Uni and say thanks for your support. It will

also be a good chance for you to find out about

other cycling stuff happening in Nottingham

and find out what will be happening next at the

University.

Pop down to Portland B37 at anytime between

11-1pm on the 27th of March and grab a slice!

We'll also be having a celebratory Wollaton park

bike ride in the evening too.

Update from the Doctor...Dr Bike will be back on campus at the end of the

month with eight more bike fixing appointments.

Due to the massive demand for the Dr Bike

service the University will be continuing it after

March. Don't forget to sign up to their

sustainability newsletter to continue to get

appointments sent through.
