Remember to volunteer to support the movement in keeping our water safe. It is important that we take action now to avoid the aftermath of resource depletion.

The crisis of our diminishing water resources are just as severe as any wartime crisis we have ever faced. Our survival is just as much at stake as it was at the time of Pearl Harbor, or the Argonne, or Gettysburg, or Saratoga. -Jim Wright, U.S. Representative

Go to cleanwateraction.org to see how you can volunteer to protect our environment, health, economic well-being and community quality of life. Click on “Take Action” and select volunteer. Fill out the simple request form and you will be contacted by a member of the clean water organization on how you may participate. We all can make a difference, one person at a time.

Letter of transmittal-

As part of the CWC I contributed a flyer and poster to show the importance of our drinking water. The flyer gave good information on how to help protect our water sources. The poster showed the importance of our water and the terrible disaster of water pollution. I created both documents to express my concern for our water supply. Until people see the statistics, they really don’t know the affects of water pollution. Water is something we often take for granted. We use more than we need. It’s important to conserve and take measures to protect our remaining water sources, or we will eventually see the depletion of water. I created visuals to identify with the audience on this topic. Statistics convinced them the pictures were accurate and the claims are true. “This is all the water we got; we don’t get anymore after this!”
