Centerville Lacrosse Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the growth of youth lacrosse in the Centerville/Washington Township area of Ohio
US Lacrosse-Membership Required! US Lacrosse is the national governing body of men's and
women's lacrosse. Membership in US Lacrosse provides league required insurance coverage for the players and coaches as well as other benefits. All Centerville Youth Lacrosse players and coaches must be active members of US Lacrosse.
Southern Ohio Chapter of US Lacrosse The Southern Ohio Chapter of US Lacrosse is the governing
body of our 3rd through 6th grade lacrosse program.
Ohio Middle School Lacrosse Association The Ohio Middle School Lacrosse Association is the
governing body of the boys middle school teams (7th and 8th graders).

Coaching 20 Head and Assistant Coaches 4 Coaches with College Playing Experience High School Coaches working with MS Rec.
Integration with High School Programs
All coaches are required to:
Pass a background check administered by the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI).
Complete the Positive Coaching Alliance’s “Double Goal”
Begin their Level 1 US Lacrosse Coach Education Program (CEP)
Complete NFHS Concussion Training

CVLAX Responsibility-Provide Players/Parents with Concussion Sheet-Ensure Each of our coaches is properly trained-Remove Child from Play and Enforce return-to-play rules
Parent Responsibility-Study the concussion sheet that was provided-Watch for symptoms of concussion at home

K2 Games Most Games will Be on Saturdays
Boys Youth Games Typically played on Sunday (some Saturday games) – First games played after
Spring Break Schedule will be generated by SO/USL and is supposed to be available in mid-
February.
Boys Middle School Games Generally Played on Tuesday and/or Thursday nights
Girls Middle School Games Generally Played on Monday and/or Wednesday nights
Girls Youth Games 6 v. 6 Games
Game schedules are/will be available on the website.
Mays Park Update-Fields graded and seededBase down for parking lotFooters installed for Wall
Frost, snow, or heavy rain will mean no practice or games on the park fields.
Coaches and Team Managers will be notified of field closings around 3pm on weekdays. 8am on weekends.
Families will be required to support the organization by donating some of their time to facilitate various activities of the club and Park District.
Team Managers will assign the specific activities and times to their team
Easterling Studios will be taking team and individual pictures this season.
