Hospitality/ Catering assistant- Sheffield UnitedZero Hours (August 2016 – Current)

I work for Compass Group as a Hospitality/ Catering Assistant. I take care of our guests in the Box Level during football matches. In addition I have catered for a wedding at this venue, which was a great experience and a huge responsibility.

Catering Assistant/ Party Host – Poppies Bakehouse Zero Hours (August 2016 - Current)

I assist in the running of the business which includes a Café, a Bakery and a venue for both children and adult’s parties/ Events. I meet, greet, serve and assist in the preparation and planning of the events, deal with the finances and look after the customers to fulfil their needs and wants throughout their stay. In the event of a children’s party I help to entertain the children.

Restaurant Waitress/ Bar Staff/ Retail Assistant- The Olive Grove, Polebrook, Part Time, (November 2013- August 2015)

My role was to meet and greet the customers, wait on tables and prepare food and drink behind the counter, I also sold retail products within the gift shop. This role was challenging, fast paced and team work was paramount with excellent customer service always at the forefront of this role.

Leeds Festival- Mobile phone charging companyTemporary (August 2015)

I was employed to work for 5 days to charge festival goers mobile phones. The experience to work behind the scenes of a festival was an eye opening one and highly enjoyable. It was very fast paced and a highly responsible position of keeping track of all mobile phones at all times. Residential Care Home Kitchen staff at Polebrook Nursing Home Part Time (March 2013- July 2013)

This role involved preparing, supplying and collecting the residents food and drink at the end of the day, in their rooms as well as in the dinner hall. I had to prepare and clean away all equipment used and work closely with the residents, fulfilling their needs and wants while working closely with a different range of ages and nationalities as part of the Kitchen staff.

Nursery supervisor- Small Wonders Nursery, In Northamptonshire, Oundle Work experience (2 weeks in July 2012)

I worked alongside Small Wonders staff helping look after the children from an age range of 1- 4year olds. I had to ensure the children were enjoying their time and in addition making sure all health and safety and educational needs of the children were met. This needed finely tuned time management and organisational skills.

I love getting involved in as many different opportunities as possible, as I love meeting new people and making the most of where I live.

The Tourism Society Committee

I am an Events Officer within the Tourism Society at Sheffield Hallam, and my role is to help plan and organise events for the society, I am able to choose an event to do, contact the organiser and help sell tickets. I commit to meetings twice a month to ensure the Society is being run effectively.

Being an Events Officer has improved my leadership, planning, organisation and communication skills which I hope will make me to stand out in my future career.

The Surf Society

I am part of the Surf Society within Sheffield Hallam which is a Surfing club. I joined in order to meet more people, have fun, keep fit, and travel to places like Cornwall to partake in this activity as travelling is a great love of mine.

Hobbies & Interests

I enjoy being around friends and family. I enjoy shopping, eating out and travelling. I have been lucky enough to visit many countries

abroad such as America, Greece, Asia and Spain. Music – I have attended several music festivals such as V festival, Reading festival and

Leeds. Exercise- I enjoy going to the gym, running or walking near where I live. I have previously

been a part of Netball, Hockey and Basketball teams. Keeping up to date with global news.
