pigsinspace., Nikos Kotoulas and Anastasia Georgopoulos are a creative team

involved in communications since 1995.

The early years were shaped at Alektor, Geo Young&Rubicam, Ashley&Holmes, Magnet,

Scholtz Friends Athens, McCann Erikson/Athens and finally with TBWA\ATHENS

prior to striking out on their own.

While at TBWA\ATHENS they were responsible for:

the Audi account in Greece: designed the launch campaign for the Audi A2

with the award-winning film “The Little Prince” and the movie “A day at the office”

for the Audi A3, both campaigns purchased by Audi for international use

the 2002 launch of illy coffee in Greece

participating in the successful campaigns of Ivi greek refreshment drink,

“We all have a little ivi (puberty) within us” and Cutty Sark whiskey “make it simple”.

award-winning print ads for the return of the Parthenon Marbles campaign

entitled “Elginism, cultural mutilation”, for the British press.

In 2003, Nikos and Anastasia set out on their own, with the creation of pigsinspace.

In 2004, except of carrying all communication for Fleria Athens florist,

they designed the successful packaging series “Faces”, “Market” and “Athens”

in observance of the Olympic Games Athens 2004.

Since 2006, they handle all communications, below the line activities and indoor artwork

for Pita Pan restaurants.

Many of their works have won awards in Greek and International advertising festivals.

In 2006, they submitted their personal notebook titled “Meanwhile” in to the COLORS

NOTEBOOK competition, sponsored by Fabrica & Colors magazine.

The submission participated in an exhibition at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and part of it

was published in the “COLORS NOTEBOOK EDITION, VIOLENCE”.

In 2006 they took part at the Athens-Video-Art Festival by the video “Flying lesson #5”.

In 2007, they conceived the idea of ding, a design object shop in Halandri, Athens, Greece.

From concept to interior design, object selection, branding, communication, media strategy

and marketing/events management.

Includes organization of the notable “ding plastic chair projects 1” and “2”;

artists weres invited to work and manipulate the well-known and misunderstood monobloc

plastic chair in a manner they wished, as long the chairs remained utilitarian objects.

In 2005, pigsinspace. began to discover the beauty of Africa; traveled to Mali, West Africa,

and visited the music festival of the Tuareg in the desert of Essakane in Tombouctou.

Experience spans all forms of communication and design: print, television, radio, web,

branding, packaging, brochure and book design. Well-suited to carry projects from

the creative brief to final implementation, whether on a stand-alone basis or in cooperation

with external partners.
