Current Funding Priorities in Health Behavior at the National Cancer Institute

• BRP initiates, supports, and evaluates a comprehensive program of basic behavioral research, health communication and informatics, processes of care, research methodology, and health behavior interventions

• Health behaviors of interest include tobacco use, dietary behavior, physical activity, cancer screening, HPV vaccination, virus exposure, sun protection, and medical decision-making

• Interested in genetic, biological, psychosocial and contextual influences (e.g., relationships, stress, executive control)
