According to International Air Transport Association (IATA), India was the fastest growing aviation market in the world in 2015 with over 20% growth compared to 2014

The World Bank has projected that India will grow by a robust 7.8 per cent in 2016 and 7.9 per cent in the next two years. World Bank also predicted that India will be the fastest growing economy in the world in the next three years and would outpace China.
