Stewardship Campaign Update We have received several more pledge commitments for 2018 and our total now stands at $300,314 which is slightly behind the same time last year. Our total 2017 pledges were $329,090 so we need to receive an additional $28,776 to equal 2017; however, we hope to see a modest overall increase to cover anticipated inflationary increases in our 2018 budget. We have 20 pledging units who pledged in 2017 that have not responded to the 2018 campaign and expect to hear from all or most of these families soon. Thanks to everyone who has pledged to the 2018 stewardship campaign. If you have any questions about your 2017 pledge or whether you have submitted a 2018 pledge, please contact Chuck Wooten at 506-4553 or at [email protected]. Please download a pledge card from the church website’s link, http://www.cullowheeumc.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Cullowhee-United-Methodist-Church-2018-Pledge-Card.pdf

From the Debt Retirement Team Four months ago our mortgage balance was $190,000. Now it is $79,034.00. As money comes in, we immediately send it to the bank. If you have not joined in our Debt Retirement Campaign and would love to help out, please go to http://www.cullowheeumc.org/event-items/sunday-retire-the-debt/ for more information and a Debt Retirement Pledge Card. Let’s ditch this debt!
