Ct ChAllenge Wellness ProgrAmThe Wellness program is designed to support our

mission to empower cancer survivors to live

healthier, happier and longer lives. This 12-week

evidence based program will help cancer survi-

vors as they transition from active treatment

to post-treatment survivorship. Cancer survivors

enrolled in the program will learn the benefits of

exercise, nutrition and psychosocial wellbeing in

an environment designed to capitalize on the

building and maintaining of a community of

support. The goal of the program is to educate,

facilitate and provide cancer survivors with the

necessary skills to help them make sustainable

healthy lifestyle choices.

education, speakers and more

Serving low income and

underserved cancer survivors

Our support group for women

living with cancer in low-income

and low-access circumstances

is run in partnership with the

Norma Pfriem Outreach Initiative

at the United Congregational

Church in Bridgeport, CT.

The program lowers barriers

to entry for participants by

funding meals and childcare.

Survivorship programs provide a bridge to transition survivors from active treatment back into every day life, and help survivors to establish a roadmap for the future that optimizes health and wellness.
