I have known Crystal for over six (6) months as the Assistant to Dean Judith Karshmer. She is a consistent Student Assistant, who always checks in with me and/or Dean Karshmer on her scheduled days, and on occasions, would stop by in-between classes to talk and relate her student activities and experiences. Crystal is thoughtful, courteous, and dependable. She always completes the tasks that are assigned to her, with accuracy and timeliness. Crystal cheerful nature and openness to feedback means shes always learning and growing as a learner, an impressive strength that will continue to serve her well. The University of San Francisco (USF) is very important to Crystal. I have seen a strong effort within her to stay connected with her studies and maintain a healthy on-campus social connection with her fellow students. Crystals strong academic desire to exceed in her chosen field in Communications (major) with a minor in Public Relations, fits well with her interest in marketing and social media. From the first day in her current role within SONHP, she impressed me with her ability to be articulate and passionate about USF. I am certain that Crystal is going to continue to do great and creative things in her future. She is talented, caring, dedicated and focused in her pursuits. I have seen a consistent growth in maturity and character, and I know she will remain engaged and driven, as a curious student. It is my hope, that all the positive qualities that Crystal embodies, can be expressed and nurtured here at the University of San Francisco, and beyond. Please feel free to contact me if I can provide additional support and/or information. Sincerely, Margeaux Holloway Assistant to Dean Judith Karshmer

RE: Academic Letter of Recommendation – Crystal Wong

I am writing this academic recommendation letter of support for Crystal Wong, who is currently a Student

Assistant in the Dean’s Administration office, within the School of Nursing and Health Professions

(SONHP).

I have known Crystal for over six (6) months as the Assistant to Dean Judith Karshmer. She is a

consistent Student Assistant, who always checks in with me and/or Dean Karshmer on her scheduled

days, and on occasions, would stop by in-between classes to talk and relate her student activities and

experiences. Crystal is thoughtful, courteous, and dependable. She always completes the tasks that are

assigned to her, with accuracy and timeliness. Crystal cheerful nature and openness to feedback means

she’s always learning and growing as a learner, an impressive strength that will continue to serve her well.

The University of San Francisco (USF) is very important to Crystal. I have seen a strong effort within her

to stay connected with her studies and maintain a healthy on-campus social connection with her fellow

students. Crystal’s strong academic desire to exceed in her chosen field in Communications (major) with

a minor in Public Relations, fits well with her interest in marketing and social media. From the first day

in her current role within SONHP, she impressed me with her ability to be articulate and passionate about

USF.

I am certain that Crystal is going to continue to do great and creative things in her future. She is talented,

caring, dedicated and focused in her pursuits. I have seen a consistent growth in maturity and character,

and I know she will remain engaged and driven, as a curious student. It is my hope, that all the positive

qualities that Crystal embodies, can be expressed and nurtured here at the University of San Francisco,

and beyond. Please feel free to contact me if I can provide additional support and/or information.

Sincerely,

Margeaux Holloway
