    SELECTION CRITERIAFOR ELECTIVE ARTAT UPPER SECONDARY

    Given the demands of the new O Level Art syllabus, students need to spend muchtime and energy pursuing it. The Art department seeks to identify students who haveboth the attitude and aptitude to take art at the upper secondary level. They shouldbe well above average in ability their work and must demonstrate the potential forfuture development. We look for students who can clearly articulate their ideas andwho demonstrate an overall commitment to the visual arts.

    There are 4 criteria in the selection of students to undertake O level Art. Studentsmust score a minimum of 12 points.

    The 4 criteria are

    1. Observation2. Creativity & Imagination3. Portfolio of works4. Secondary 2 Art results
