LESSON:•Today we’re going to talk about what Jesus did for us 2,000 years ago and what that does for us today. What it means to us. Can anybody tell me what Jesus did for us? He died on the cross for our sins -FLANNEL BOARD Scene 1 He died for you and for me. Back in the old testament they sacrificed a lamb to show they were sorry for those things that they did wrong. But they still had the same desires. Then one day Jesus came and took our sins to that old rugged cross. He didn’t even do anything wrong but He willingly suffered for you and me because He loved us all SO much. He was the only Lamb that was worthy, carrying the cross with ALL the sins of the world up Calvary’s Mountain. FLANNEL BOARD Cross on mountain There on that cross Jesus shed His blood for us. His Blood began to drip and flow from the cross. FLANNEL BOARD Blood coming from cross Oh He really loves us! And because of what He did for us, we no longer have to sacrifice ‘A’ lamb, because ‘THE’ Lamb came and took not only our sins but also the desire for those sins away. When we tell Jesus we are sorry for our sins and accept Him in our hearts, He sees us through His shed blood. Our sins are all washed away and Jesus set us free!Play Quote 1 •Ask the children questions on quote. Is there anything we can do to be good enough? No Jesus sees us through what? His Blood. Does He see our red sins anymore? No Why can He not see them? Because His Blood made them white as snow. FLANNEL BOARD Sins under the bloodWe don’t want to do those things that are wrong. You don’t want to cheat, backtalk to Mommy and Daddy, fuss or fight with brother or sister or your friends or tell lies anymore. But He knows you want to be honest and truthful even if it means you get in trouble sometimes. If we think about the skit Bro. Joseph and Bro. Adam did at camp this year of how you do something wrong and the devil tries to tell you you’ll get in so much trouble if you tell the truth. He wants you to tell a lie. But you would actually get in more trouble than if you just told the truth to start with. What do we do when the devil tempts us like that? Go to our knees and pray, listen to a Tape (Press Play)

• But there are times we make mistakes. How many have done something wrong and you felt so bad about it? You might have felt kind of down, sad or lonely. Teacher raise hand with children.

That was Jesus speaking to your hearts in That still, small Voice. When you went and told Mommy, Daddy or whoever it was that you were sorry, then how did you feel? Children express their feelings of relief, being so happy, love of Jesus in their hearts, Mommy and Daddy being proud of them.• Yes, you felt SO much better now because you kicked the devil away and made

Jesus welcome and happy! You have no condemnation in your heart! You’re good little boys and girls and don’t want to do those things. Jesus was our Ex-ample and we all want to be like Him don’t we?. Guess what? When you make that mistake and ask forgiveness, telling Jesus you’re sorry, He doesn’t even see it! So you can put your name under That crimson Flow, His Blood. Why does He not see your sin? because He sees us through His shed blood! Yes, and you can say it’s JUST as IF I’D never sinned!! Let’s all say that together.

Everyone say together “It’s just as if I’d never sinned!” Remember how Bro. Joseph has been encouraging us. Yes, we are going to fail and make mistakes, but we’re JUSTIFIED. Let’s hear our prophet tell us about it.Play Quote 2•Reviewing Quote; when you make a mistake and tell someone you’re sorry Bro. Branham said we can forgive but not forget. But does God remember it? No Why can’t he remember it? The Blood of Jesus cleanses us, in the book of God’s forget-fulness. Pointing to the Blood on Flannel Board And we are now what? Justified Children repeat again, “It’s JUST as IF I’D never sinned” •Let’s turn in our Bibles to Romans 8:1 and read what Paul saidScripture Reading (Maybe have children repeat after teacher in scripture reading)•“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”•When we have Jesus in our hearts we don’t want to do those things of the flesh (teacher demonstrating, pointing to our flesh / body) but of the Spirit, we want to do those things that please the Holy Spirit. What are some of the things that please Him? Quiet Time (reading Bible, praying, listening to Tape), listening to Dad-dy and Mommy, being sweet to brother, sister, friends, talking about Jesus, witness-ing for Him, etc.FLANNEL BOARD Bible, child praying (QT tree), Tape, Agapao Tablet, Witnessing Card• That’s right. When we come under the Blood, receiving the Token, our desires

are for the things that are pleasing to Him, our heavenly Father. Jesus gave His life for us and we want to live our lives for Him.

Scripture:

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the

Spirit.Romans 8:1

Quote 1:“Now, look. You take the scientific research. And you take red, a piece of red goods or a red piece of stuff, cellophane, and look through at a piece of red, and red through red looks white. Try

it. Take red and look through red; it looks white.Well, we, through wrongdoings, are red. “Though your sins be

like scarlet,” red. Through the shed Blood of the Lord Jesus, God looking through there, red through red looks white. “They shall be white like snow.” See? Not through your something else, but through the Blood, the only place that He can fellowship. Out-

side of there, your own righteous, He will never see it. Your good works, He will never know it until you come beneath the Blood, then He sees you as His own beloved son or His daughter. Red

through red looks white.-No matter what you’ve done, sinner friend. When God looks, sees you’re confess your sins as being wrong, and God looks through the Blood of the Lord Jesus, He sees you snow white.

No matter what you’ve done, He’s looking through you through Christ’s Blood. You’re redeemed, precious thing. God will never

condemn you no more. He can’t condemn you.”55-0403 Fellowship By Redemption

Quote 2:

“And notice, not only is the Bride washed, forgiven, but She is justified. See? Did you ever try the word justified, to see what

it means? Now, for instance, if Brother Green heard that I had been drinking, I been doing bad things, then he found out that I

didn’t do it. Then he come, say, “I forgive you, Brother Branham.”

“You forgive me? I never done it. What you forgiving me about?” See? But if I’m guilty, then I can be forgiven; but I’m

still not just, because I did it.But the word justified is “though you never done it, at all.” Jus-tified! And then the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us so from sin, till it’s put in the Book of God’s forgetfulness. He’s the only

One can do it. We can’t. We can forgive but not forget. I could forgive you,

but I always remember you done these evil things. Then, you’re not just; you’re forgiven.

But, in the sight of God, the Bride is justified. She never done it, in the first place.”65-1204 The Rapture
