James Borrell is a scientific explorer who led many educations expeditions around the world. DRAMA

JUNIOR MUSICAL

‘By Jeeves’by Alan Ayckbourn and Andrew Lloyd Webber

Monday 20th to Thursday 23rd May

Vivian Cox Theatre at 7.30 pm

(tickets required; no charge)

Based on PG Wodehouse’s Jeeves and Wooster stories, ‘By Jeeves’ follows the hapless but charming Bertie Wooster who, stranded in a Village Fete with no banjo, retells the story (with some help from the locals!) of how he was persuaded - in a pig mask - to steal from the terrifying Sir Watkyn Basset in order to set up some young lovebirds whilst escaping a jam-obsessed American and trying to help two equally hapless friends attract some deadly females. Everything gets horribly tangled, of course, and there is only one man who can save the idiotic aristocrats from themselves: Jeeves!
