Minutes of AGM of Craigton Community Council on 10/10/2019 Pre Approved

The Annual General Meeting of the Craigton Community Council took place on Thursday 10th October 2019 from 7 PM to 9 PM at Mosspark United Church Hall, 67 Ladybank Drive, Glasgow G52 1EZ.

welcomed attendees and carried out the safety announcements

7. Treasurers submission of Independently Examined Statement of Accounts for year ending August 2019 – See Appendix BThe printed accounts summary and Inventory and additional resources List had been circulated to all attendees prior to the meeting. It was noted that there was a discrepancy from the closing balance reported at last year’s AGM to the opening balance this year of £26 that was due to a cheque for hall rental not being included. It was also noted that the Inventory and additional resources list had not changed from last year. MJ apologised to CW that she had not let him see the final accounts that had been signed off by the independent examiner until just before the meeting.

10. Result of Full Community Council Election. Appointment of Community Council members for October meeting. SD declared that the local residents listed in Appendix D had been duly elected to Craigton Community Council to serve for the period 2019 to 2023.

11. Call for nominations and election of Chairperson, Vice chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. Also, appointment of Pollokshields Area Partnership representative and substitute and minute secretary.SD invited candidates for each of the office bearer positions on the council. All positions were elected unopposed

14. Appointment of Independent Examiner for financial year 2019-2020It was agreed Louise Jaundrill to be reappointed as the examiner for 2019/2020. Proposer CC Seconded SR. MJ had previously asked Louise Jaundrill if she would be prepared to fulfil this role again and she had agreed to continue if the CCC members approved it.

15. Appointment of any Associate MembersIt was agreed to invite Friends of Bellahouston Park as an associate member. Any FOBP member that was not already a CCC member can represent the organisation at Community Council meetings. Proposer VL Seconded GJIt was also agreed to invite C.R.A.G as an associate member.
