The Time Therapy training presents you with some essential tools for modern day living, includ-ing ways to deal with those times of emotional crises and conflicts that challenge us all. It also provides valuable additional tools and skills for therapists and healers.

Manuel Schoch is a gifted Swiss clairvoyant and a modern mystic, a healer, therapist and teacher, who works with his own wisdom, clearness, compassion, humour and humbleness. He studied psychology in Switzerland and England, where he also refined his psychic and mediumship skills. The founder of the Tune in Centre for Human Growth, since 1984 he has given talks, workshops, and courses, in which he is supported by the other dimension and his spirit guides. He is the Director of the Tune In Institute for Time Therapy in Zurich, London and Athens. He also teaches at the University of Zurich, bridging science and spirituality.

In those 120 years we have seen times of war and times of peace and both lean and prosperous periods. Through everything the College has continued to offer a haven, welcoming all those who come in search of greater understanding. Our aim is to provide a space, not far from the madding crowd, but a sanctuary where all can come and explore the diverse things of spirit.

“Moativational” Medicine RIChaRD MoaT CPD

Richard Moat believes that while we all value good health we do not always make it a priority. Often we only focus on it when we are faced with losing it, either temporarily or permanently. His contention is that our personal choices and decisions, both conscious and unconscious, regarding our lifestyle and beliefs, as well as our emotional reaction to events, all influence the initiation and progression of our short and long-term ailments. Following the diagnosis of his father’s cancer, Richard created ‘Moativational Medicine’ to set out a blueprint for understand-ing and eliminating illness and disease through the practice of D-I-Y prevention and healing. Tonight he will explain his healing system and demonstrate, using members of the audience, how disempowering beliefs and emotions manifest as physical symptoms and illness and how these can be released.

Richard runs courses and seminars to motivate individuals and organisations. Vastukana BuTkovIC

Vastu is a holistic concept of architecture and interior design. First developed in India some 5000 years ago, it is recognised by many as the origin of Feng Shui. Its aim is to create environments that celebrate the soul and honour our connection with nature.

Kana will reveal how Vastu works and detail simple and practical ways to transform the spaces in which you live and work into settings that are both beautiful and at the same time encourage contentment and well being - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Kana Butkovic spent over a decade as a practicing Hindu monk. During that time he mastered the art of Vastu and Jyotish (Indian astrology). At present he is running Vastu Design – the busiest Vastu consultancy in Europe. Kana has lectured both in Europe and India and is very passionate about sharing the wealth of spiritual knowledge and experience he has acquired in his travels and practice. Kana is also offering a full and a half day workshop on Vastu techniques, on 18 & 19 February respectively.

This talk introduces and charts the development of one of the most recent breakthroughs in the field of energy work.

Hands on Healing – Directed CareSTeFan RIPPel CPD

Working as a healer in Vienna, Stefan has developed a system which he calls Directed Care. This has been created for people who are relatives of, or are in a close relationship with somebody who is suffering from an illness, such as a cancer patient or someone who has Aids, Multiple Sclerosis and so on.

Directed Care is active support which you can give to your relatives and close friends when they walk the path of sickness and death. The idea is to offer a skill for stress reduction and pain relief to anybody who wants to actively support a partner, friend, or child in the process of healing, or in case of the terminally ill, to support them on their way to death.

Directed Care also offers a new perspective to all those who feel like a victim of destiny. It can change your attitude and help you to face the challenge of suffering. It allows you to develop skills and self confidence, enabling you to master the challenge and grow. This system is based on hands on healing. Stefan will explain how hands-on-healing works and give an overview of its history from its roots in ancient traditions to the interest of modern science, such as Biophotonic research.

Stefan Rippel was involved when Hands-on-Healing was established in the daily routine of Viennese Hospitals to help cancer patients. He has taught in nursing schools and gives classes for terminally ill and their relatives. Stefan is also teaching the first level of Directed Care in a workshop on 25 February 2006, and will be available for private consultations and healing. Kernels of Sufi Wisdom – A Practical ExperienceSaRIDa BRoWn

Perhaps best known through its poets – like Rumi, Rabia and Hafiz – Sufism is known as the ‘path of the heart’, and has also been called the heart of all religions. An ancient wisdom tradition, its roots are found in Egyptian mysticism, Alchemy, Zoroastrianism, Islam, and in all mystical schools. This talk will include breathing exercises, visualizations and poetry, to give a taste of the Sufi spirit of creativity, love and unity.


Sarida Brown has been nurtured in the Sufi Order of the West, for which she also teaches and guides retreats in the UK and abroad, with a special focus on healing. Her training includes acupuncture and psychotherapy, especially Jungian. She is founder-editor of Caduceus Journal.

Since her guide Richard first came to her in February 2000 Angie has given countless demon-strations throughout the UK. In hospital Dr Sam Parnia faces life and death issues everyday. Through his work with critically ill patients, he became interested in understanding what happens to the human mind and con-sciousness at the end of life. He then set about performing the first ever study of near death experiences during cardiac arrest, a unique biological model of the dying process. His work has gained scientific and academic recognition as well as global public interest. His research sug-gests that the human mind and consciousness may continue to function even when the clinical

criteria of death have been met. It resurrects the debate over whether there is life after death and whether there is such a thing as the human soul. In tonight’s talk Dr Parnia will share his latest research and real life stories from patients who have been to the brink of death. He will reveal how what happens to us at the end of our life can be studied through the objectivity of science. Come and join Dr Parnia and find out what really happens when we die.

Dr Sam Parnia is a leading expert on near-death experiences and a Fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cornell University, New York. He founded the Consciousness Research Group at the University of Southampton. His ground-breaking research was featured in the BBC 2 and Discovery documentary The Day I Died. Together with colleagues he has set up the most comprehensive study of the human mind and consciousness at the end of life.

For those who would like to learn how to use dowsing to read and balance the aura and energy centres. Participants will be taught practical techniques using the pendulum to help them follow the energy field surrounding others, and both read and balance the aura and energy centres. You will also be introduced to flower essences and crystals and will learn how to choose the appropriate one to help you maintain a balanced energy field. This workshop will be an introductory day, combining the two spiritual disciplines of healing and trance work. It is suitable for those who have some experience of working in trance. Participants will learn how to raise their vibrations, blend with those who gather close to inspire them from spirit and allow their guides to channel healing energies directly to the recipient. This workshop is only suitable for those who have some experience of working in trance.

This is not part of the Accredited Healing Course and healers should note that CHO insurance does not cover Trance Healing.



Working Spontaneously and Safely geRRIe MaRCh

A good medium or psychic should be able to communicate spontaneous information in a sitting. Accessing spontaneous information can be extremely rewarding, both for the recipient and for the medium, but at other times it can prove challenging and sometimes controversial. Sitters often prefer to ask direct questions, but this creates a situation where the medium’s conscious mind can interfere, leading to unsatisfactory or unreliable answers. The best results come from working spontaneously and safely.

A great deal of work can be done using the information held in our chakras and the auric field. Cords are invisible bonds that bind us to other people. We naturally cord to others and allow them to cord to us. Some cords are both positive and necessary such as those between parents and children. Others can drain our energy and cause physical symptoms. For the past 1350 years, monks in the Shaolin Monastry in China have used a gentle yet powerful self-healing and regenerative technique known as Hsin Tao (The Way of the Gods) which rejuve-nates the body and increases the life force. Hsin Tao is the source of the Shaolin techniques we know today: martial arts like Kung Fu, or Tai Chi and Qi Gung.

Designed specifically for the adult body, these simple exercises are as gentle as they are effective in rejuvenating the body, mind and spirit. Hsin Tao often brings about profound healing in those who practice regularly. The exercises can be easily done at home, in the office, or in any quiet space – without the need for special equipment, clothing, or instructors. 35 years after recovering from severe polio, Ratziel Bander was struck with the debilitating symp-toms of Post Polio Syndrome. This workshop teaches time-honoured techniques of going within yourself and ignoring the chatter of the outside world to find the pearls of wisdom lying deep in your own heart. It also offers practical ways to help you in dealing with the ‘Reasonable Mind’, setting up an undying dialogue with your heart and remembering what you love so you can use it when it matters most. Healing

The College Healing Accreditation Course (CHAC) The College of Psychic Studies offers a comprehensive training for those who wish to become healers. The College is a member of the Confederation of Healing Organisations (CHO), follows the guidelines of UK Healers and each student is bound by their Code of Conduct. This means that on successful completion of the Accreditation Course and an examination panel, you can practice as a healer in a wide variety of settings (including the NHS).

For those at the beginning of their journey, this can be achieved by completing a two year modular course consisting of five terms – foundation, intermediate A & B, advanced C & D. Places on the course are allocated after a short interview with the tutors. Private ConsultationsThe needs of the sitter are relevant to the choice of sensitive. Before booking a consultation, decide what it is you require from the session. Do you want evidence of survival, spiritual guidance or practical advice? each sensitive works differently and not everyone gives specific evidence or proof of survival after death. First time sitters are therefore advised to consult Reception before booking a reading. our leaflet Hints on Consulting a Sensitive can be helpful and is available from Reception, our website or by post (please enclose a stamped ad-dressed envelope: 46p for first class, 35p for second class).

Most sensitives allow their sessions to be recorded. Sitters are welcome to bring their own blank cassette, or can buy one from Reception at £2 for a C120 (1 hour each side). For sessions with trance mediums, C120 tapes or longer must be used.

Full payment for your sitting is necessary at the time of making the appointment, or within the next 5 days, otherwise the booking will automatically be cancelled. For bookings made less than 7 working days prior to the appointment, payment must be made at the time of booking. Private Consultations

Full payment for a sitting is necessary at the time of mak-ing the appointment or within the next 5 days, otherwise the booking will automatically be cancelled. For bookings made less than 7 working days prior to the appointment, payment must be made at the time of booking.

Workshops

All workshop participants are encouraged to book as far ahead as possible and preferably not less than two weeks in advance. If bookings are not made until near to the scheduled workshop date, applicants may find that workshops are filled. All bookings must be accompanied by payment of full fee. No provisional bookings can be accepted.

Courses

new students: If your course does not require an interview, full payment must be made at the time of booking. Should an interview be required, please contact Reception to book an interview date. The course fee must then be paid at Reception, directly after your interview.

ongoing students: In order to secure your place for the following term, fees must be paid during the two weeks prior to Members’ Booking Days.

Cancellations & RefundsIn the event that the College has to cancel a work-shop, lecture, course, or appointment with a sensitive or healer, all fees will be refunded in full. The College reserves the right to change the tutor of any course or workshop if circumstances demand.

If a sitter has to cancel an appointment with a sensitive or healer, two working days’ notice is required in order to qualify for a refund, less a 25% administration fee.

If a participant has to cancel a workshop, seven working days’ notice is required in order to qualify for a refund, less a 25% administration fee.

For cancellations of workshops less than seven work-ing days prior to the start date, refunds (less 25%) can only be given if the place can be rebooked.

For cancellations of courses less than 21 working days prior to the start date, refunds (less 25%) can only be given if the place can be rebooked.

Refunds cannot be given once a workshop or course has commenced.

No refunds can be given for Special Lectures.

The Disability Discrimination Act aims to end the discrimination that many disabled peo-ple face. The College at The Mystic Arts

The College of Psychic Studies is proud to be associated with the launch of The MySTIC aRTS at London’s Olympia 2, on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of May 2006.

We will have a strong presence at this exciting new event, with a dedicated area for the presen-tation of what the College has to offer.

Over the weekend we will be hosting various taster work-shops on a variety of topics in our specialist area of expertise, ranging from Tarot, enhancing your psychic awareness and past life healing to connecting with the Higher Realms and receiving spiritual guidance.
