For all healthcare professionals working in areas where the ECG is monitored and recorded.

Cardiac arrhythmia need quick, simple, effective assessment and management, founded on evidence based knowledge andpractical assessment. However, although the patient with cardiac emergencies often present in the acute phase, they mayalso in many instances have a chronic history underlying this process. This workshop address the needs of nurses, doctorsand allied health professionals who encounter ECG monitoring and traces, whilst recognising the often chronic nature of thesediseases, by building on a knowledge of pathophysiology, assessment, examination, treatment and care. Experienced cardiacprofessionals deliver a two day package of theoretical and practical workshops. Designed as an update or consolidator thecourse will appeal to a range of health care professionals encountering ECGs.
