STAGE 4 (June 15th) Conditioning/Skill Developmental Training Sessions May Include:

• Continue modified Indiana Soccer Sanctioned activities.

• Recreational sports leagues, and tournaments resume.

• Normal training sessions may begin. Competitive activities and games are allowed. Normal length of training sessions may resume.

• Physical contact is only permitted within the rules of soccer during time of active, competitive play (no on or ff field team huddles, no celebrations involving personal contact, etc.)

• There should be a maximum of 250 people total (players, coaches, referees and spectators) per field, while the use of CDC and social distancing guidelines required.

• Players not warming up or on the field should wear their PPE mask. Coaches should wear PPE on sidelines (may lower mast to offer instruction).

• Have designated side-line space for each player to keep their soccer equipment and water bottle (6’x6’ area with 6’ between adjacent player area). Players must bring their own water. No sharing. No communal water coolers. Players not in the game should follow social distancing guidelines.

• Referee area should allow for social distancing

• Spectators attending games should follow the social distancing guidelines, a minimum of 6’ away from another spectator not in their family.

• NO TEAM BENCHES are to be used. Players and Coaches should bring their own folding chair to properly social distance while the match is being played.

Stage 4 –Referee Protocols • Please utilize the following protocol when refereeing a game:

• Wear a mask when going to the field

• If there is more than one referee working the game, be sure to socially distance yourself from the other referees (minimum of 6' apart)

• Wear a mask during:• Field inspection• Introducing yourself to the coaches• Team check-in• Captains meeting• Only one captain per team

• All individuals are to stay a minimum of 6' apart

• Referees and assistant referees are not required to wear a mask during the game

• During the game, if there needs to be a conversation with a player or coach, maintain social distancing

• Post game acknowledgement between players, coaches and referees, no physical contact. Verbal acknowledgement of "good game" and "air" high fives is acceptable

• Before leaving the field, put your mask back on as you move to another field or until you are in your car

STAGE 5 (July 4th)Go Time!

• If Covid-19 conditions are as anticipated at the end of June, the Governor will most likely implement Stage 5 on July 4.

• Please anticipate social distancing to continue as we transition from Stage 4 to Stage 5, per CDC and Indiana Soccer recommendations.
