BWT UFThe water after the pretreated process is then �ltered through the membrane at 0.02 micron to remove all unwanted virus, bacteria, and unwanted bio chemical except for those minirals useful to human consumption.

Sediments at 90 microns are restrained by the BWT In�nity. There are 3 options o�ering fully presurrized automation, semi automation and manual backwash operation.

The unit can be installed after the booster pump to guard the water supply from severe contamination such as waterwork pipes brokedown which contained muds or dust and sands etc. It is wisely to have the water supply system installed a “defence” at the point of entry.

BACKWASH FILTER INFINITY M/A/AP Filter complete with brass head and high-tech materials, incl. Backwash system and waste drain connection DN 40. Type M: manual backwash �lter. Type A and AP: automatic backwash �lter with 24V-connection, electronic control unit for controlling of the backwash interval. AP with additional di�erential pressure controlled backwashing (time priority) and potential free contact for optical and acoustic alarm control, max. 4 �lters can be installed in parallel. Foreign particles in the household water supply system may cause enormous expenses

You can imagine what your water contains. You are right when you say that the water supply plants provide us with clean water. However, repairing, sanitation and switching to new networks result in penetration of foreign particles (hemp, �lings, sand etc.) into your piping. The consequences of it are dripping taps, blocked valves in water feeding household appliances and pipe disruption due to point corrosion etc. To prevent such situations it is recommended to install �lters according to DIN 1988, part 2 – 8.1. How it worksThe Staufix is equipped with free hanging verti-cal backwater flaps. These flaps insure that abuilding´s wastewater flows freely through thevalve while simultaneously preventing any back-water from backing up into the building.

The backwater phenomenon

Water may be the element of life, but too much of it can be dangerous as well. Heavy rainfall can, for exa-mple, cause the water in the drainage system to rise higher and higher. Since the drainage pipes have not been designed for such high levels of rainfall, the wa-ter backs up further and further. The result is then the dreaded backwater. Water forces itself at high pressu-re into any room which is below street surface level.
