There are lots of ways that your company can work with us to improve the lives of people with autism. Our experience of working with businesses means we’ll find great opportunities for you to shine. We’ll also give you coverage in our communications. We know that every company is unique, so we’ll make sure our partnership with you meets your business needs.

We pride ourselves on being friendly and personal but very professional and we’ll always find ways to work with you that best suit your business. An effective Corporate Social Responsibility programme is becoming an increasingly important way for companies to attract and retain customers and enhance their brand and reputation.

This leaflet will give you some ideas about how we can work together.

Charity of the YearAutism is a cause that resonates with more people than you think. It touches the lives of more than two million people in the UK, including 60,000 in the West Midlands alone, and will inevitably affect many of your staff, colleagues and customers. If you are looking for a way to unite your whole company behind a great cause, why not select Autism West Midlands as your next charity of the year?

We really value being chosen as a Charity of the Year and will work hard to make sure the partnership works. We have a track record of adding value to local and national companies including Natwest and Barclays. We’ve also worked with organisations who have never had a Charity of the Year before such as the Aston Hindu Society and Bannatyne’s gym. Many of our partnerships have been extended past their first year.

What we can offer you:• Dedicated account management• A bespoke fundraising pack containing simple but effective fundraising ideas• An exciting calendar of events supported by an experienced team• An excellent in-house PR team that works proactively with corporate partners.

In addition to the proceeds from any fundraising events, you could offer us:• Free or discounted use of your facilities/space• Prizes for raffles

If you are interested in choosing us as your Charity of the Year, please call Sarah Francis on 0121 450 7582 for further information.

Employee fundraisingRaising money for a really good cause is a great way to bring everybody together, giving them a common goal. If you want to get your team fundraising at work we

can come up with lots of ideas.

We’ve got a huge calendar of outdoor activities you could participate in, from skydives to treks to sponsored walks. Or if you’d prefer to stay indoors why not a quiz, cake sale, book swap or simply collect 50ps and loose change.

If you have your own ideas we’ll be there to help every step of the way. We’ve got lots of fundraising materials, and our team and volunteers can come along to offer support.

Sponsorship & marketingSponsorship is an opportunity to raise the profile of your business as well as helping us to support more people with autism.

Your sponsorship means we can raise more money from our events and activities. In return, your company will benefit from positive PR, which we will work with you to create, and you can also reach a new audience. You could sponsor a conference or training event, either in cash or in kind, helping us to raise vital funds, while generating a positive image of your company. We will work with you to develop a package that suits you best.

There are many different sponsorship and marketing opportunities available, so call us to see how we can work together.

Volunteering and other ways to support usYour time and expertise are extremely valuable to us - our events programme, simply couldn’t happen without our volunteers. If you want to volunteer regularly, we would love to hear from you.

We’re also lucky to have companies and agencies who share their expertise with us, as well as companies who generously donate prizes for our special events. This helps us invest more money where it is most needed in providing support for people with autism. Are you able to donate a gift in kind? If so please contact us.

If your company has a payroll giving scheme, please think about Autism West Midlands. Giving regularly makes a big difference to us. Payroll Giving is a tax efficient way of giving and your donation comes straight from your salary. To find out more about the scheme speak to your HR or payroll department.

If you have any other ideas about how we might work together in a mutually beneficial relationship, or if you’d like any additional information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch - we’d love to hearfrom you. Please call Sarah Francis on 0121 450 7582 or email [email protected].
