MGMA State Information Matrix


Where to Start – log in and password

www.mgma.com

Please note, only the President, President Elect and State Staff have access to the matrix


Step 2 – click the “admin” link @ bottom of page


Step 3 – Click on “state matrix”


Step 4 – Questions or View Responses

If you are adding your information, use the

“questions” tab, if you want to see the responses and run

reports for your use, use the “view all responses” tab

To add your information go to the drop down menu and

select your state

Step 5 – Start populating your answers


Answer Options…

Large boxes are for text responses

Small boxes are for numeric responses. These boxes will not accept number ranges or dollar signs

Drop down boxes for yes/no or multiple choice answers


Things to remember…..

• If a question does not pertain to your state, leave the question blank

• Answers will be saved after every question – hit enter to tab to the next question, screen will “gray out” momentarily (save function) when screen reappears, you can move on

• To answer a multiple choice question, hold down the “control” key and select all of your answers

• There is no log out process, hit “enter” after your last question to save it and then close the application

Choose your filter options, click on filter results and your report will show

Things to remember….. Reporting

• To select multiple states/questions to filter, hold down the “control” key and click on all of your selections

• To view all responses for all states, do not use a filter

• All report requests can be exported to an Excel file

• If you need to add/change a response, go back to the “questions” tab, scroll to the question(s) you want to adjust, change/add your answer, hit “enter” to save the new information. This can be done anytime
