SIGNAGE NARRATIVE The new Assisted Living (AL) /Memory Care (MC) facility will be a three story building for residents with an attached single story building for common spaces, such as dining and kitchen areas.

Sheet #1 Monumental Sign This is a two sided sign that will be illuminated by a decorative Hubbell flood light. This flood light will have a visor which will restrict the illumination only to the sign. There will be two of these signs. One will be located by the South Main Street Entrance and one will be located at the future Old Post Road entrance. Sheet #2 Typical Wayfinding Sign This will be the standard signage for the rest of the site. It complements the large monumental sign by mimicking the crown moulding on a smaller scale.

Answer: The new plan is to have the General Contractors load and haul the dirt, at their expense and with their trucks to the Sharon North Site.

22. Question: The Bid form calls for the bid to sealed (assuming to be hand delivered). Will an electronic bid be acceptable with a hard copy to follow. Answer: Yes.

23. Question: Can the CSI Tabulation form be made available in Excel and the Subcontractors and Major Material Suppliers List in Word? Answer: Yes.

Civil: Questions: Trees are currently being removed from the site. What condition will the site be left? Will the GC be responsible for removing stumps? Is the erosion control barrier in place? Answer: Tree clearing has occurred on-site, trees have been cut, stumps remain. The contractor is responsible for removing stumps within the limit of work. Erosion control measures are in place; however the Contractor is responsible for removing and replacing any damaged erosion control measures, and is responsible for maintaining erosion control barriers throughout construction. Please refer to the plans and project specifications.

24. Questions: Drawing C-101 shows a sound enclosure wall around the generator. Is this required? If so, can a detail be provided?

Answer: Not required and has been removed from the drawings.

25. Questions: Specs for interior and exterior signage (including the 2 Whitney Place entrance signs listed on C-101) are not in the specifications. Are they Owner furnished and installed?

Answer:Furnished and installed by Contractor (see signage specifications. The interior signs are FF&E.
