Announcements

Kenya Medical Mission Team: Please keep our mission team in your prayers as they serve the people in Kenya. Pray for continued safety and guidance as they work to share God’s love and grace.

Family Promise: provides temporary housing to homeless families, allowing them to stay together and maintain a stable lifestyle for their children. We will be hosting 3 to 4 families at our church this week. Volunteers are still needed. Sign up on the church website or at the Information Center.

The Grace Project – “SOUPER” BOWL OF CARING: January 5th - February 23rd. Donate canned soup – especially the hearty meat and vegetable varieties - to our church Food Pantry. Collected items will also be shared with the Drake Center Food Pantry, as well as with North Fulton Community Charities. You are challenged to bring in lots of soup: family size, single serving, or children’s favorites – Let’s do our part to help “tackle hunger” one can of soup at a time! Drop your items off in the blue bins at the Information Center.

Beyond Our Walls: Join us on February 8th at 8:00 AM as we reach out into the Roswell community to serve others. Opportunities to serve include: working at local charities; helping with light construction projects; working on projects for the City of Roswell; visiting assisted living facilities; completing projects for local schools; and participating in on campus activities to support charities, veterans and first responders. No matter who you are or how old you are, there is a way for you to serve! Register online now. Invite family and friends to join us as we work to make sure that no one misses the grace of God.

Staff Changes: Our church has two new staff positions—Chief of Staff and Operations Manager. Wes Blalock is now full-time in a dual capacity as IT Manager and Chief of Staff. In addition to his IT duties, Wes is now responsible for supervising all non-ministerial personnel. Chris Rowe is now serving as Operations Manager, a new role that combines many of the business functions previously performed by the Administrative Manager with the responsibilities of the Facilities Manager. The previous roles of Administrative Manager (Chris Rowe) and Facilities Manager (Kari Kirksey) are no longer current positions in our church structure. We appreciate the work of both Kari and Chris in these roles for the past few years.

Employment Opportunity: Seeking a fulltime Administrative Assistant position for our church staff. Ideal candidate is personable, has a servant attitude, and possesses good communication skills. Must have a high school degree, experience in an administrative/office position, and office computing skills. For more information please contact Wes Blalock at 770-587-6980 ext. 228 or send resume to [email protected].
