Contents evaluation This is the contents page of the NME magazine. It is very contrasting to the front cover of the magazine where they focused almost entirely on the inbetweeners. There is less obvious structure to this contents page in comparison to say classic FM which has a clear layout. This slightly represents the target audience of the magazine, demonstrating that readers are more interested in the content of the magazine, rather that the layout of the pages. The page is headed Inside this week rather than contents, this may be because this magazine is targeted at a younger audience where use of formal language is less necessary Unusually, there is only one layer to this page, unlike some magazines which have a pictorial and a textural layer. There is no photo in the back ground; instead there is a photo for each of the pages that have the most interesting stories. Having pictures on the contents page may also help to entice more visually orientated readers.

Contents evaluation

This is the contents page of the NME magazine. There is no photo in the back ground; instead there is a photo for each of the pages that have the most interesting stories.Having pictures on the contents page may also help to entice more visually orientated readers. Overall I think this is a good contents page for the target audience, the use of pictures and the less structured layout is far more in formal appealing to this type of reader.
