The St George’s British International School uniform is worn by all pupils from Red Dragons through to Year 11. In the Sixth Form, Years 12 and 13, pupils do not wear school uniform but instead adhere to a dress code.

There are three phases of daily uniform, depending on which year group a child is in. The Dragons uniform, the Junior School uniform and the Senior School uniform are all available from our supplier. PE uniforms, for sports lessons, and House T-Shirts, for House competitions, are also required: please refer to the individual sections within this brochure for further details.

Uniform can be purchased by visiting the store of the supplier (please telephone in advance to make an appointment), or by ordering online. Additionally, the uniform supplier holds on-site sales at both the La Storta and City Centre campuses each day during the first two weeks of term, and once per week thereafter. Please refer to the website or enquire with the school Administration for the latest dates and times

The Sixth Form Dress Code is a privilege afforded to Year 12 and Year 13 pupils who for the first timehave a choice in the attire they wear to school. Our aim is for pupils to be able to express their individual personalities and characters in comfort, whilst modelling appropriate attire for our formal school envi-ronment to younger year groups.

In consultation with the Sixth Form tutors, the Student Voice team team,sixth form tutors, and the senior leadership, the Sixth Form dress code states: • Tops may include plain t-shirts. Polo shirts, shirts, or smart tops should be minimal in pattern • Tops should not be too tight, skimpy, revealing or low-cut• Tops should not display large logos, brands, designs, patterns or motifs• Dresses, skirts and shorts should be approximately knee length • Leggings should be worn only as an alternative to tights, not as an alternative to trousers • No jeans are permitted• No sportswear clothing is permitted• No hoods or caps should be worn inside the school building • Footwear should be close-toed shoes or trainers in good condition • Jewellery and make up should be subtle and discreet
