Featured Poet: Tripp Fontane is songwriter/producer/rapper/poet hailing from Dayton, Ohio. He has performed all over the country, travelling regularly since 2010 and winning many poetry slams. He is a member of Underdog Academy Artistic Collective. He has performed alongside Black Ice, Sunni Patter- son, Huggy Bear, and more. CIAO First Fridays Studio Tour Friday, June 2 ~ 5:00-9:00pm Admission: free While on the 3 rd floor, visit the studios of resident artists Jack Ryan, Joy Johannes Miller, Janet Keturi, Julie Kathryn Wyckoff Harkless, Nicki Griner, Elizabeth Davis, Nikole and Eric Cooney and William But- ler and in the Side View Gallery on the 2 nd floor - Natalie Jackson ONeal. It sounds so serious, but when you combine that type of music with four fun-loving musicians who don't take themselves too seriously and who also cover songs from Otis Rush's All You Love to Whipping Post to When the Levee Breaks to YYZ), you get a bit of magic in live music form. The band writes and performs music that has been recorded in numerous fine albums. For fans of King Crimson, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Dixie Dregs, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.
