Construction Certificate Checklist When Council has approved your Development Application for the proposed building works the following documentation is required to enable an assessment of your Construction Certificate application.

COND NO. MANDATORY (M) RECEIVED
M Fees payable to FORM Building Certifiers if quoted
M Application Form completed and returned (no fax copies please)
M Copy of the Home Owners Warranty Insurance provided by the builder (if value of work is $12,000 & over) OR Owner Builders Permit (if work is valued at $5000 & over & work is not done by a licensed Builder)
M Sydney Water approval (REECE plumbing quick check agent)
M One (1) copy of the relevant Council’s Development Consent conditions
COND NO. PLANS RECEIVED
M One (1) copy of full set of Council approved plans and documents
M Three (3) copies of plans for the proposed work indicating compliance with the Approval conditions and the Building Code of Australia.
COND NO. ENGINEERING RECEIVED
Three (3) copies of Structural Engineers plans
COND NO. COUNCIL FEES (receipted evidence or payment of all Council fees & bonds) RECEIVED
Receipt for infrastructure bond (if applicable)
M Receipt for the Long Service Levy Payment if value of work is over $25K
COND NO. OTHER DOCUMENTS/INFORMATION RECEIVED
BASIX Certificate (if applicable)
If Council’s Development Consent conditions require additional information to be submitted we will notify you immediately by phone or fax to avoid any unnecessary delay.
