The UniSim Competency Suite combines UniSim Operations, Honeywell’s best-in-class

operator training simulator, with tools for operator competency management that together

deliver powerful, immediate customer benefits.

Benefits of UniSim Competency Suite

As a new generation assumes operational responsibility for industrial

manufacturing, operator training has become more important than

ever. Training by doing is highly effective and simulation technologies

allow operators to practice doing their job in a safe and engaging

environment. UniSim Competency Suite offers both simulation and

non-simulation based tools for training the next generation.

Competent workers have the skills, knowledge and appropriate

patterns of behavior to make informed choices. Likewise, Instructors

must be equipped with the tools to continuously improve and deploy

the best training interventions. The UniSim Competency Suite

In addition to the above new features, R470 also supports the latest versions of Experion systems, namely R511.1, R510.2, and R501.5. Additionally, Safety Manager is also now incorporated into Engineering Studio.

Building upon console emulation changes and enhancements from R460 and R461, R470 also includes HMIWeb and keyboard updates.
