They close for lack of financial sustainability and the people power to manage the facility.

They close for lack of energy to maintain worship/sense of mission and purpose.

Ten year decline in Average Sunday Attendance of 23%

Ten year decline in Plate/Pledge of 12.7%

A DEEPER LOOK AT THE STATS Membership: Declined overall by 27%. Thirteen

churches reported increases between 2001 and 2010.

Average Sunday Attendance: Declined overall by 35%. Seven churches reported increases between 2001 and 2010.

Plate/Pledge: Overall $212,731 (2%) increase in plate/pledge between 2001 and 2010 due to increases reported by 28 out of 68 churches between 2001 and 2010.

In 2010 it cost approximately $123 to purchase the same goods and services purchased in 2001 for $100.
