Geometry students are learning properties of Quadralitaterals that will help them solve for missing lengths
and angles. We will take a quiz on Wednesday over Parallelograms, Rectangles, Squares and Rhombi.
Algebra 2 will begin graphing quadratic equations and analyzing graphs of quadratics. A quiz is scheduled for
Friday.

pressions and use these skills with the Pythagorean Theorem. We will have a test on Friday (11/13)

Biology will discuss photosynthesis and cellular respiration. They will also discuss the unique properties of
the cell membrane and do an osmosis lab to investigate cell transport.
Human A&P will take a bone practical on Tuesday. They will spend the rest of the week investigating the dif-
ferent joints in the human body.
Chemistry will spend the week discussing and investigating the wonders of the periodic table.

English III-Students will continue studying transcendentalism and its presence in Romantic literature. Stu-
dents should also read chapters 11-12 of Into Thin Air.
English III DC-Students will continue studying transcendentalism and its presence in Romantic literature.
Students should also finish reading their novel A Separate Peace. We will continue studying the presidential
candidates, their positions on the issues that impact American society, and their use (or lack of) of civil dis-
course.
English IV DC-Students will continue studying the Victorian era of British Literature and begin to understand
the various elements of a lit analysis essay. Students should also read through The Wife of Bath’s Tales in
Canterbury Tales.
