JUNE 12th – 30th, 2017Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

In Chinese, Gong Fu (功夫)doesn’t only mean Kung Fu,

but also means skills and talents.

TYPICAL DAILY SCHEDULE

Time Activity

8:30am-9:00am Check-in/morning exercise

9:00am-9:50am Chinese language

10:00am-11:00am Kung Fu

11:10am-12:00pm Chinese language

12:00pm-1:00pm Lunch and recess

1:00pm-1:50pm Calligraphy/painting

2:00pm-3:00pm Tai Chi/Ping Pang/Folk Dance

3:10pm-4:00pm Crafts (paper cutting, Chinese Knots…)

4:00pm-4:30pm Check-out

(10 minute breaks between classes)

CAMP GROUPS: Class A: age range 6-8 Class B: age range 9-11 Class C: age range 12-17

COST: $250/one week | $450/two wks | $650/three wks Cost includes a camp T-shirt, daily drinks and snacks, a completion certificate and group photo.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS: A cancellation fee of $50 will be deducted from the cost refunded if cancellation is made before the first day of camp. No refunds are given if cancellation is made after the camp has started.

Camp is held in Eric Jonsson Academic Center (JO), at The University of Texas at Dallas.

Enroll them in the Become a Gong Fu Panda – 2017 Chinese Language and Culture Summer Camp, offered by the Confucius Institute at The University of Texas at Dallas.

This three-week camp for children 6 years and older will focus on building Chinese language skills and developing specific talents in Calligraphy, painting, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, folk dances, and crafts.

Daily immersion language classes and fun activities will enable your children to learn fast while having great fun!
