0 CONFIRMATION SUNDAY, MARCH 13TH, 2016

It is hard to believe that we are at the end of our confirmation season for this year. It feels just like last week that we were kicking things off with our opening breakfast. Now, after 10 weeks of learning, growing, laugh-ing, making new friends, seeing new sights and experiencing God in new and powerful ways, St. Luke’s confirmands are ready to profess their faith in Jesus Christ and be confirmed as members of this wonderful church.

Confirmation Sunday will be next Sunday, March 13th. The confirmands will be recognized at the Sunday morning services that they and their families usually attend. Later that day, at 4:00 PM, we will have a confir-mation service in the Ministry Center followed by a celebration dinner at 5:00 PM.

You are invited to attend the confirmation service to show your love and support for these wonderful young men and women as they profess their faith in Christ and become members of St. Luke. You are also invited to join us for dinner afterwards. The cost of the dinner is $12.00 per person, and you will need to make a reservation with Erin Knight (erin@stlukeum.com, 706-327-4343) by Thursday, March 10th.

It has been my honor and privilege to lead these 33 students the past few months. I truly believe that God will use these students to do great and mighty things for his Kingdom.
