Main Purpose of the Job:
HR is responsible for recruiting, inducting and developing the human resources needed to ensure that The Royal Parks operates cost effectively and efficiently. In particular, the post holder will be responsible for assisting in day to day personnel function requirements including pay administration, data input on the personnel database, new joiner and leaver actions, keep in touch and recruitment administration.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment administration Cover the HQ Reception area on a weekly rota basis and also for other
absences as necessary Help maintain the OpenHR personnel database and record all staff
changes Assist with administrative action relating to appointments, probation,
promotions, transfers, retirements, terminations etc as required Provide admin support relating to payroll and pension changes, liaising
with park offices, pay office and other Government departments as appropriate
Draft staff notices as necessary and assist with publishing them onto the intranet
Monitor long term and frequent sick absence, chasing any missing documentation
Issue Keep In Touch information as required. Update Organisational Charts as appropriate. Oversee the security clearing of new staff / contractors Produce statistical information as required Issue, collate and record yearly appraisal information Electronically file appropriate records in TRIM Co-ordinate & plan some aspects of TRP training.
