CONDENSATE CHAMBERS / SEAL POTS

Condensate Chambers/Pots: Condensate Chambers areused to collect and accumulate condensate and extrinsicparticles. Condensate chambers aid in protecting delicateinstruments with smaller orifices from becoming damagedor clogged by foreign debris. The bottom connection isused as a drain port to remove condensate. Condensatechambers can also be used to cool very high temperatureliquids.

Seal Pots : Seal pots are used to provide a liquid sealbetween the process instrument and gases such as steam.Its function is to keep the liquid level constant in theimpulse tubes (sensing lines), while preventing stem orcorrosive liquids from reaching the instrument.

Typical Applications

Techline Mfg. Condensate Chambers & Seal Pots arefabricated from seamless pipe. A variety of materials andwall thicknesses are available to meet a customer's designpressure and temperature.

Standard stock chambers are 3” pipe, 12” long with three(3) ½” FNPT connections in Schedule 80 316 StainlessSteel or Carbon Steel. Expedited delivery is available fornon-stock chambers.

All chambers are hydro pressure tested and certified priorto shipping. X-Ray & Dye-Pen testing are available uponrequest.
