About the Producer: The People’s Concert
Since 1998, The People’s Concert has worked on over 100 events per year and we have a rich history of fundraising and event production, often working side by side with the City of Los Angeles. Our first event took place in 1998, when Mayor Richard Riordan called upon us to help the unfortunate victims of Hurricane Mitch. Subsequent notable events include: benefits for The Los Angeles County Firefighters Memorial, The Stop Foundation, and The Manny Mota Foundation.
The People’s Concert is also a proud founder of The Long Beach Crime Prevention Fair that runs annually at The Queen Mary, now at the helm of the Long Beach Police Department, other events include, Oscar Night America Los Angeles, the only sanctioned event in L.A. by the Academy of Motion Pictures.

Each year, The USO - Greater Los Angeles Area (Bob Hope Hollywood USO at LAX, USO at Ontario International Airport and USO Lounge at Palm Springs Airport) will serve 60,000 Servicemen and Women as they leave the U.S. to defend us, or arrive back home from active duty.
The USO operates without subsidies from the U.S. Government. We need your support to keep this vital bridge going strong.
The Concert For the Troops, produced by LA-based The People’s Concert and Superstar Events, is a non political charity concert with event proceeds (after expenses) going directly to The USO - Greater Los Angeles Area.
