ABOUT THE PROGRAMThe objective of this program is to assist in the development of the next generation of HARDI executives through access to learning and networking platforms. With these platforms, Emerging Leaders can develop solid core skills, expand networking options, associate with industry leadership, and expand their business horizons.
WHO IS AN EMERGING LEADER?An Emerging Leader is any employee of a distributor or supplier member who has been recognized as having the talent and potential to someday advance to the executive level of the organization. Sometimes, as in the cases of family-owned companies, this is the next generation owner. Other times this is an unrelated (but still high-potential) individual who is on the way to the top.

...I can already see value in her involvement.
Not only is she bringing new ideas back to our
organization, she is learning things I’ve been telling
her for years but she’s hearing it for the first time. It
could be that she’s hearing it from someone else or
in a different way. In either case, it’s a win.
An Emerging Leader can graduate in 3 years by completing the following requirements:
* Due to assessment costs, there is a $300 fee to enroll in the graduation program.
** Previous activities by existing Emerging Leaders will count toward graduation requirements.
*** The Emerging Leaders task force and the capstone project teams are formed and meet at HARDI’s Annual Conference.

Turns out when you place your selected fast
trackers with about three dozen other like-minded
whiz kids, you wind up with a mental track team,
and the buzz is electric. They are thirsty for skills,
ache for wisdom, and are learning very quickly
how to motivate themselves. They are incredibly
receptive and able to learn at a frenetic pace
when placed in the crucible of talent that the
Emerging Leaders program has become. The real
financial performance, team motivation, sales
training and leadership skills they have learned
so far have sunk in deep and fast. ... If you haven’t
been involved in the most exciting part of HARDI,
you might rethink that about now.
