The manually generated process of the

scholarship examination at STI is themain reason why the proponents thoughtabout making a computerized system. Inproposing this kind of system the

proponents believe that it would be easierfor all the users to have this kind of application.



OVERVIEW OF THE CURRENT

STATE OF TECHNOLOGY

In the manual process of taking the exam theusers are having a hard time in doing theirdesired task when it comes to quick access. Theresults of the test are given weeks after theexam and sometimes it affects the decision of the examinee if they·re going to enroll or not.The proponents wants to give address on thatmatter because the proposed system can help togive quick results for the exam and easy accessto other matters regarding on it.



This study is very essential in handling the

Examinations and the results. This will benefit especially

to the faculties or teachers who will conduct the test

because it provides immediate results and handles all the

operations and generates reports as soon as the test is

completed and saving the precious time of faculties to

check the papers and preparing and reviewing the marksheets.



The proponents intend to give solutions for

the following problems of the current

process:

Low security

Poor updating of the questionnaires and

record

Access to the results



GENERAL OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the project is to

give quick access, results and reliable

information to the users.



The scope of this project is very broad in term of

other manually taking the exam. There are no

restrictions that the examiner has to be present

when a candidate takes the exam.



Methodology



DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES

Write Proposal - The proponents intend to do

the research that can help in the fulfillment of the proposed system.

Obtain Approval ² The proponents obtain theapproval needed to start the proposed system



Requirements ² The proponents conduct the

interview in order to know and analyze the

problem in the manual process of taking the

exam.

Design Review ² On the 3rd Week, the

proponents Construct the Interface andclearing all the functions needed in the

system.



Revised Design ² On the 4th Week, The proponents

review the design if it is needed to change the

design.

Data Implementation ² On The 5th Week, the

implementation of the project will start based on

the implementation phase.



T esting ² The Proponents tested procedures to

indicate if there are errors that may occur in the

system

Maintenance ² The proponents will continue

debugging and updating the systems problems that

will possibly may encounter in the near future.
