This project was completed to a very high standard as a direct sub-contractor to Sir Robert McAlpine.
The works were completed on time to a very tight programme, whilst
ensuring that the client was also able to proceed with the stocking and fitting out of the store.
The installation comprised of lighting, small power, hot and cold water
services, air conditioning, fire alarms and ventilation.

HEIGHLEY GATE GARDEN CENTRE Pyeroy Ltd Morpeth, Northumberland 36 weeks Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing £568,000.00
This design and build project included the upgrade of the utility services and the installation of a new 800KVA single phase power supply.
Heating was generated by low pressure gas boilers with an under floor
heating system installed within the main retail area and radiators installed in the office area.
A fully automated ventilation system was installed throughout the
retail/greenhouse area which was controlled via zone mounted controller and a roof mounted rain/wind weather station. This system formed part of the fire strategy and the vents automatically open in the event of a fire to give passive smoke extraction.
An automatic shading system was also installed below all areas of roof
which were constructed in glass to give plants/flowers protection from direct sunlight.
