using globally recognized models for predic'ng high performance • Learn the process of Iden'fying competency profiles • Agree on a common scale to measure competency levels • Prepare interview guides to record assessment of incumbent
competencies • Conduct and document simulated interviews using guides • Find the best fit between competencies and behavioral indicators of
vacant posi'on and those of applicants. • Make a hiring decision based on documented results and consensus • Conduct reference check before making a final offer Methodology: Par'cipants will prepare a competency profile of a strategic posi'on in the organiza'on and prepare an interview guide. They will also interview ‘real’ candidates to prac'ce this technique and eventually make a hiring decision based on group consensus.

During her career at Ericsson, she has successfully rolled out Integrated Talent Calibra'on process that combined 3 processes viz. performance management system, iden'fica'on of key contributors and Leadership talent pool candidates of nearly 4000 employees. Samer has designed and developed trainings and guidelines for Line
Managers on Leadership competence model, Performance improvement planning process, Coaching & Mentoring skills, and on giving and receiving feedback. In addi'on to this, she prepared “dashboards” for 400 Managers in the region-‐capturing their historical data in the Assessment Centers, performance indicators in Climate survey and details of Leadership development programs a[ended. In her leadership role at Schering, she established a centralized HR func'on in addi'on to designing and conduc'ng Assessment Centers for merit based selec'ons and promo'ons. Samer standardized Hiring process by introducing Competency based Recruitment and Hiring prac'ces by developing in – house “Targeted Selec'on Interview Guides”. She also has a hands on experience of implemen'ng Performance Management System in addi'on to preparing HR Policies/Guidelines Manual She is adjunct Faculty Member for NUST Business School and Quaid -‐ e -‐ Azam School of Management Sciences. She is a Master’s in Public Administra'on and currently Director at Genzee Solu'ons Pvt. Ltd.
